Inspire Therapy for Sleep Apnea

Sleep apnea impacts as much as 20 percent of the population, and this common condition can lead to significant long-term health impacts if left untreated. For patients with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) who can't tolerate or don't benefit from continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) therapy, the FDA-approved Inspire® therapy can help.

Inspire therapy involves implanting a small device under the skin that monitors breathing patterns and keeps the airway open during sleep--with no need for a mask or hose. Dr. Cole is trained to provide Inspire therapy; after the minimally invasive procedure, patients typically return home the same day.

You might be a candidatefor Inspire therapy if you:

  • Are aged 18 or older
  • Have moderate to severe OSA
  • Have tried and struggled with CPAP
